The Coast of Carolina Parrot Head Club is a not-for-profit organization whose members share a love for the tropical spirit of Jimmy Buffett’s music and writings. Located in beautiful Myrtle Beach, SC and serving the Coast of Carolina from Little River to Georgetown, we are proud to be affiliated with the national organization, Parrot Heads in Paradise, Inc. – www.phip.com At last count, our membership included over 275 fun-loving, hard-working Parrot Heads.
Our philosophy is reflected in the club’s motto: “Party with a Purpose”. We schedule socials every month in which our members enjoy music and camaraderie. In addition to having fun and making new friends, we are driven by a strong commitment toward giving back to our community and the environment through volunteer efforts and charitable fund-raising. Over the past 28 years, our annual fundraisers have allowed us to donate over $ 500,000 to local charities. In 2004, the Coast of Carolina Parrot Head Club was awarded the Golden Coconut award, presented annually by Parrot Heads In Paradise, Inc. Margaritaville to a local chapter for exceptional community service.
